This event was Kindly Sponsored jointly by Chateaux Estate Agency and Worth Catering both long-time supporters of Guernsey Dinner Boxing.
The evening included two very competitive skills bouts, Jack McGrath – Guernsey v Leyton Gregory – Liverpool and Xabie Marsh – Guernsey v Anthony Cowley – Liverpool these four very keen youngsters definitely show promise for the future.
We unfortunately also has two bouts less than programmed due to two Liverpool Boxers unable to make the night.
Arnie Watson – Guernsey v Adam Cottle – Liverpool was another enthusiastic fight which resulted in a Points Score Win for Arnie.
Rio Gaudion – Guernsey v Daniel Minahan was a really well fought bout by both boxers resulting in a win for Daniel.
Luke Robert – Guernsey v Gabriel McHugh – Liverpool was one hell of a fight by both boxers, resulting in a hard fought win for Gabriel, this bout was very much deserved to be voted the “Bout of the Night” by the two joint Sponsors.
Ross Gogercaks – Guernsey v Jake Moss – Liverpool, this fight was won by Jake who put a really good reach advantage over his opponent to best use.
Tom Teers – Guernsey v Jamie Killen – Liverpool was a fast and furious bout which resulted in a points score win for Tom.
Gage Baker – Guernsey v Joseph Moylan – Liverpool was the last fight of the night and another really good hard fought fight resulting in a points score win for Gage in his comeback fight after a 9 year layoff.
Although this was an evening with a reduced amount of bouts the fights that we did have resulted in a good evening’s entertainment enjoyed by all that were present.
Our next Dinner Boxing Night is on March 20th and we has been advised that there should possibly be more bouts on the programme that night.
